Collection: Chibit Glass

Chiara Lutz was born in Como, Italy and raised in Claremont, CA. She is an Italian American artist based out of Southern California and is currently a technician at Pittsburgh Glass Center. Her skill focus is in glass art techniques and has been creating and doing business as Chibit Glass since 2016. She earned her BFA while studying at California State University San Bernardino.

Over the past decade Chiara have been creating playful glassware while pushing and amassing skills and techniques to make quality and durable glass objects and homewares that are animal and nature inspired/themed. Her glasswork begins with me creatively approaching traditional Italian glass working techniques such as furnace work, high fire enamel painting, lapidary, and lampworking with an abstract modern, and whimsical style.
